Annamode Costume’s logo redesign is featured in “Logo 2.0 – 283 Logo Makeovers and the Design Strategy behind the projects” by David E. Carter, available through Bright Books.
Annamode Costumes has been a costumier for the stage and screen since 1946. It is known in Italy and worldwide for its high quality creations, collaborating with famous names of movie business, like De Sica, Visconti Fellini until the production of the costumes for the Sofia Coppola movie “Marie Antoniette”, which won the Oscar for best costumes.
The company in the past used as logo only its name written in Century Gothic font, slightly modified.
In the new logo the initial A has been added to the company name. The A is made by a needle and a thread, which crossing the needle’s eye “magically” becomes a movie film. Needle and thread suggest the great tailoring craftsmanship of Annnamode Costumes.
